Motors 1908 (Reprint 1992)

In 1908, Henry Ford starts making the Ford Model T, nicknamed Tin Lizzie, the first mass-produced car in history. Up until then, each car was hand-made. This is a rare collection shows the various cars on the road before this milestone in mass production. Approximate card size: 68x36mm

Frames

Frames are sourced from high quality Japanese wood with a rosewood colour  finish and a gold overlay on the inner rim

Small and medium frames include two pieces of acrylic glass between the mounts, allowing both front and back visibility of each card. This design enhances the display, as most cards have detailed information on the reverse side (though not all do).

For the larger frames, 2 pieces of glass are used for better support for the cards in the frame. However for the smaller frames, hard plastic is used to lighten the product.

Frame mounts

All "A" size cards fit into mount windows measuring 69 x 37 mm.  ("A1" cards are slightly larger than the standard size, and "A2" cards are slightly smaller).

All "L" size cards fit into mount windows measuring 81 x 63 mm. Other card sizes may need custom-cut mounts.
